As part of our Pillar Passions program, we partner with a different local charity each quarter to raise funds and awareness - this quarter we chose to support Folds of Honor.
Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to the military families of those who have been killed or disabled while in active duty.
Folds of Honor generates a lot of their involvement and fundraising through golf events, primarily Patriot Golf Day. So during the month of September we hosted golf themed events at our communities to benefit Folds of Honor.
Our talented maintenance team hand built a custom Pillar Properties putt putt hole and our residents showed us their top notch putting skills! Residents donated to putt and a hole-in-one entered them into the raffle to win awesome prizes! All proceeds were donated to Folds of Honor, a total of over $1,000!
And what's an event without food! We enjoyed the last few sunny days of summer with putt putt and a bbq! There's nothing better than spending time with friends and supporting a great cause. Thanks to all of our residents for participating!
