Sometimes the best way to see a neighborhood is on foot and there is lots to see near The Lyric. Each year one day in September is set aside to encourage people to avoid using cars and try walking or cycling instead. World Car Free Day aims to take the heat off the planet for just one day by encouraging people to be less dependent on automobiles. We think this is a great idea and a good way to get to know our amazing neighborhood.

With a Walk Score of 97 out of 100, The Lyric is considered 'A Walkers Paradise' and daily errands don't require a car. Living at The Lyric puts you in the heart of it all and it's just a three minute walk from the LINK at the Capitol Hill Station if you need a break from walking.
